We designed this new lightweight tent and deck structure that consists of central bar and two wings - one as a sitting room area and the other for dining. A wooden deck extends right to the edge of the marsh in which elephant, water buck, buffalo and multitudes of birds play all day long. This is a paradise unparalleled in the Maasai Mara.
The palette for our interiors was inspired by the surrounding environment - the colour of sun through long grass at sunset, the Mara sky at dawn, long dusty tracks through golden plains and of course the myriad greens you see in the marsh and riverine forest in which this special camp is hidden.
