Inspired by the Nomadic tribes of North Africa, the interiors of this high-end luxury tented camp in the Mara are a celebration of African talent and style.
All the furniture was designed and crafted in Kenya; the fabrics bespoke hand loomed cottons made in Nairobi with the exception of the bedspreads which are woven by bedouin women near the Siwa oasis in Egypt. From Cairo came brass and alabaster lamps and accessories; from Morocco leather pouffes, lanterns and wedding blankets. Baskets from Zimbabwe, bakuba cloths from Congo. The list of beautiful objects made by deeply talented artisans from all over this continent goes on and on.
Supporting & celebrating African craft runs deep in our company. Ol Seki gave us a great opportunity to showcase some of the many talented designers & artisans across the continent.
